Introduction to Modeling (SAM)

![]() | Overview and Learning ObjectivesThis introduces key characteristics of 2D and 3D models as they are created and used in the Molecular Workbench Software. It ranges from 2D modeling of a superball to roving through 3-D molecules. Students will be able to: •manipulate the controls of MW models (including energy and velocity, air friction, elasticity, gravitational field, and will be able to take snapshots and annotate them; •describe the utility of using the computer to model; •consider differences in 2D and 3D modeling. |
